Managing Your Subscription

All subscription management is handled through the Stripe Customer Portal, providing a secure and comprehensive interface for managing your account.

Accessing the Customer Portal:

  1. Go to Settings - Click on Settings in the header menu
  2. Click "Manage Billing" - Look for the "Manage Billing" or "Manage Subscription" button
  3. Redirect to Stripe - You'll be securely redirected to the Stripe Customer Portal
  4. Manage Your Account - From the portal you can:
    • Update payment methods (credit cards, bank accounts)
    • Change your subscription plan (upgrade or downgrade)
    • View billing history and download invoices
    • Cancel your subscription
    • Update billing address and contact information
    • View upcoming charges and renewal dates

Security: The Stripe Customer Portal uses industry-standard security practices. All payment information is encrypted and handled securely by Stripe, not stored on our servers.

Canceling Your Subscription

We believe in giving you complete control over your subscription. You can cancel your subscription at any time with no questions asked. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again.

If you're on a free trial, you can cancel it at any time before it ends. There are no penalties or fees for canceling your trial, and you won't be charged when the trial period ends.

How to Cancel:

  1. Go to Settings - Click on Settings in the header menu
  2. Click "Manage Billing" - This will take you to the Stripe Customer Portal
  3. Cancel Subscription - In the Customer Portal, find the option to cancel your subscription
  4. Confirm Cancellation - Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation

Important: Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You'll retain access to all features until then, and you won't be charged again after cancellation.

Upgrading Your Plan

Need more features or transcription hours? You can upgrade your plan at any time. When you upgrade, you'll get immediate access to the new features, and we'll prorate the billing so you only pay for what you use.

How to Upgrade:

  1. Navigate to Pricing - Go to the Pricing page from the header menu
  2. Select a Plan - Choose the plan you want to upgrade to
  3. Complete Payment - You'll be redirected to Stripe for secure payment processing
  4. Instant Access - Your new plan is activated immediately with prorated billing

Understanding Plan Features

Different plans offer different features and limits. Understanding what's included helps you choose the right plan for your needs.

Common Plan Features:

  • Monthly Hours: Each plan includes a certain number of hours per billing period. Usage is calculated based on audio duration processed, not file size.
  • AI Chat Access: Premium plans include access to the AI chat feature, allowing you to ask questions about your transcripts.
  • Request Questions: Pro and Enterprise plans allow you to request questions from the AI chat interface based on your transcripts.
  • Request Tasks: Pro and Enterprise plans allow you to request action items and tasks from the AI chat interface. Simply ask the AI to extract tasks from your transcripts, and these tasks can be linked to Google Calendar for seamless scheduling.
  • Storage: Plans may include storage limits for your uploaded files and transcripts.

Tip: Check the Pricing page to see detailed feature comparisons between plans. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time through the Customer Portal.

Billing & Invoices

All billing is handled securely through Stripe. You can view invoices, update payment methods, and manage billing information from the Customer Portal.

Accessing Billing Information:

  1. Open Customer Portal - Go to Settings and click "Manage Billing"
  2. View Billing History - See all past invoices and charges
  3. Download Invoices - Click on any invoice to download a PDF copy
  4. Update Payment Method - Add, remove, or update credit cards and payment methods
  5. View Upcoming Charges - See when your next payment is due and the amount

Important: Keep your payment method up to date to avoid service interruptions. If a payment fails, you'll be notified and can update your payment method in the Customer Portal.
